Caring for your False Eyelashes

To make the most out of your beloved NXLASHES Lashes, we have put together a guide on how to properly care your falsies. This is an important step as not caring your false eyelashes can result in your false lashes only being able to be worn a few times. With the correct care, with our real mink can be worn 20 -25 times. Our Faux mink lashes be used up to 20 times! So it’s definitely worth the while following our guide.

Once you have removed your lashes...

Step 1: Place each lash on a cotton pad or a folded tissue.

Step 2: Using the NXLASHES foaming lash cleanser shampoo and cleanser brush. (Shake well before use) pump 2/3 squirts on each lash, leave to soak for a minute.

Step 3: Using the cleansing brush gently brush the lash strands to remove any excess make up and bacteria. A few strands may came away from the lash band which is normal. Repeat if you can see the lashes are still not clean.

Step 4: Once clean gently pick up the lashes, using a pair of tweezers pick of any excessive glue left on the lash band.

Step 5: Place your lashes on a clean cotton pad/tissue and brush your lashes out with spoolie to enhance the natural fluff and shape of the lashes.

Step 6: Place your lashes back onto the lash tray to air dry. Upto 3-24hours depending on the thickness of lashes.

Repeat after every wear to ensure you get the full use out of your lashes.

Caring for your Natural Eyelashes

Why caring for your natural lashes is so important!

IS LOOKING AFTER YOUR NATURAL LASHES PART OF YOUR DAILY BEAUTY REGIME? MANY PEOPLE DON’T REALISE HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO LOOK AFTER OUR EYELASHES; NOT ONLY FOR AESTHETIC REASONS, BUT FOR OUR HEALTH TOO.

It’s so important to take off your mascara and any remaining eye make-up before bed. Make-up clogs up the delicate skin around the eye, and can cause your eyelashes to become weak, dry and brittle. Removing your eye-make up every night will ensure your lashes stay healthy, but ensure you use a gentle make-up remover, as the hair follicles of the eye are very fragile and trauma can lead to the hairs thinning and falling out over time.

Leaving make-up on eyes overnight can also lead to a build-up of bacteria, which may lead to blepharitis which can cause eyelashes to either fall out or to grow abnormally.

You wouldn’t skip conditioning the hair on your head, so why skip conditioning your lashes? Frequently conditioning your lashes (before make-up in the morning, after make-up removal at night) will keep the lashes soft, strong and glossy. Make sure you start at the root of the hair to ensure you’re conditioning the hair follicle, and then carefully apply up to the tip of your lashes.

Because we are dedicated to lash care, we created our very own professional serum designed specifically to help natural lashes look healthy and shiny. This serum can also be used as an eyelash primer to prep your lashes before applying mascara, boosting the longevity of your make-up.

The NXLASHES Serum is also perfect for those who have had the LVL treatment. After you’ve had the lash lift, using the conditioning serum will keep your lashes moisturised and healthy.

Just like the rest of your body, your eyelashes rely on you to be healthy over all, so eating well, staying hydrated and getting enough sleep will help keep your lashes looking healthy and luscious, which is the perfect base for any lash style.
